Home destroyed by fire in Carlsbad – about 30 miles north of the city

With temperatures in the 100’s again today and high winds……nobody knows what to expect.  I am not in any danger where I live, but many of my friends are on watch to evacuate. 

What’s that again about global warming?  And how it isn’t a real threat?  What’s that again?
