Still Here

It’s been several months and what a journey it’s been.

I am still here. Kidney failure and repair.  And now chemo for lymphoma.

I’m still here.  Just not much energy to write anything of substance.

I’m still here.

And I am mighty glad you are still here (arms outstretched to hug you across the country). Seeing your blog show up on my news feed is a balm to my troubled friend radar and I am so happy you are feeling that bit better and wrote a little something. Laughing Buddha sits on my alter in a position of support for you and is laughing just a bit more right now xoxo

And we’re SO glad you are!

  8. So very glad to see you writing here again. I hope words can infuse you with more strength to keep fighting–if they can, know that every word I write is a message to you to hang in there, keep a positive attitude and carry on!

    Glad you are still here.

  12. My god. You are one tough cookie. Pirate cookie.

I’ve been holding off writing you since I heard how rough it’s been going for you and I didn’t want you to feel obligated to dredge up enough precious energy to write back. But you’ve been in my thoughts constantly. Seriously, constantly. NewWifey(tm) is getting sick of hearing me go on and on about another woman, but fuck her. You’re that important to me.

Hang in there Poolie! We love you!!!
