Bad Press For the Third Time Now

Captain’s Log    5,794

More bad press for the museum today.  Unfortunately, I don’t know how bad it is because the website for the news service that published it won’t open.  I got informed about 6:30 this morning that it happened yet again.

This is so tedious.  It wears down my soul like you wouldn’t believe.  The bad guys from the Confederacy are waiting in the bushes until we drop our guard just a bit.  Then, SLAM.  We get nailed again.  Makes me want to pull up my tent stakes and find something else to do with my time.  If it wasn’t for a hugely interesting project in the works right now, I probably would.

I’m going to look up The Voice of San Diego and see what I can do.

Ah – an online tabloid posing as news. A comic book for the over-21 who don’t know any better. Regrettable and childish, but they know their audience.

OKAY, EVERYBODY. Voice of San Diego is up and running again. Read the article and post a comment. We can fight back. I just did. Felt GOOD.

As soon as you have a link that works PLEASE INFORM US. And remind me, please of which of your posts listed some of the recent accomplishments, including the data on the very successful fundraiser. I think there need to be a LOT of letters to the editor calling it out for what it is: disgruntled spite and innuendo with willful attacks without true cause. If enough of us cry foul a balance may be restored.

  5. OH BOO and RUBBISH and any other nincompoop-y words. The big bad wolves think they are so superior….Bet they couldn’t run the museum and get it functioning so well.

Don’t journalists do any fact-checking anymore?

  7. It’s pretty dumb; there’s no real information there, so why bother to print anything? Nothing but innuendo.

I would have like to comment, but I’m sure they’re not interested in a comment from the East Coast.

  8. Just remember: even Mother Theresa and Gandhi had their critics. Just breathe deeply and let it go. Like I do. Right.

  9. I am so sorry. Yes, what site, I will look it up and send it to you.
