End of Year

Captain’s Log   5,180

It’s annual meeting day at the museum.  We approve next year’s budget, elect officers, etc.   And then we go on with business as usual.  This day used to make me so stressed out I would almost vomit.  It’s not that way now.  We have a really good board that “gets” what I am trying to do with our museum.

Yesterday was our first Free Tuesday of the summer.  We had 100 people in the first 5 minutes.  That should give you an idea of how much fun it was for the remaining 5 hours and 55 minutes.

It wasn’t really this bad but it FELT this bad at times.

Game of Thrones is over for another year.  Pisser.  I hate waiting.  It ended on such a magnificent trumpet blast.  It was one thing after another.  And now…..the evil queen has this in her grasp (for now).

Cersei sits the Iron Throne.  Holy shit.

I have to wait until next year to see who knocks her off.  Nobody sits this for long.

Off to the big meeting.  Glad we made budget for the year.  We also got word that we have been awarded $13,000 from the county.  I presented that grant two weeks ago in chambers.  I had two minutes to speak but I only used one.  Guess it worked.
