I have the weirdest time with online shopping. I either get nothing. Or I get two of the same thing in shipments spread weeks apart. In some cases, a mystery person tosses a package over my fence. Or……
I thought having things shipped to the museum would be easier and less errors would be made.
In this case, I received two shipments on the same day. Two different tracking numbers. Two different packages. Sent to me at the museum very nicely………but only charged for one.
So I am now in possession of TWO complete sets of Game of Thrones DVD’s!
What to do? A real geek’s moral dilemma.
I decided to do the right thing and contact the company to tell them I had two sets instead of one. So far, nobody has said a word about it. Odd. I need to hear something soon so I can ship one set back in a timely manner. Or wait for their instructions to just keep the DVD’s with their blessings.
If I don’t hear anything in the next few days, guess what? I am keeping them! They will be my “loaner” set (since I never had any intention of letting my set out of the house for anyone – anywhere – anytime). I will let them know that I waited patiently for an answer. I even provided the two different tracking numbers on the boxes. I really think someone might have checked their email by now!
Some days you are short-changed and other days you are given unexpected treasure. I’m sure the karma bank is keeping track of it all so we can just go about our lives in peace.
