Montana, Take Me Away!

Captain’s Log   4,499

Getting ready to head out for the big skies of Montana tomorrow morning!  YAY!  This trip is timely for so many reasons.  Leave the house at 4:30 in the morning and arrive in Montana a few hours later.  What could be better?

I intend to update every day and post a lot of photos.  If you follow me on Facebook, more photos will be posted there.

But for now, I have a huge amount of writing to do at the Confederacy.  I have an e-newsletter to complete and our yearly $50,000 grant to the city must be completed.  And it all falls to me.  All must be done before heading off to see Miss Joanie for several hours of pampering in her beautiful new spa/salon.

So I must get to the busy-ness of this day.

I was already outside at dawn planting three shrubs and watering all the new “babies” in the garden.   And now off to the work that is just….well…  I also have to relieve a volunteer of his duties with us for snapping a Nazi salute in the gift shop the other day – in front of the staff and customers.  We have had issues with this individual before, but this is the very last straw.  I don’t need this shit.  He can pack his misunderstood intentions and go volunteer somewhere else.  I know he will argue with me.  He always does.  So I will pull up my Bitch-on-Wheels pants today and escort him out if I need to.

Montana, take me away!

  2. Yay for Montana on your proverbial horizons. Enjoy your trip!!!

Sorry you had to deal with Mr. Nazi-pants at work today. Here’s hoping he left with a good strong boot to those pants of his!

  3. Geezer

Make the bad man go away.

  4. Both G and I are open mouthed. Escort out indeed. I so hope you can rapidly switch pants to your write and create mode as soon as he is out the door. Hey, dinner to share excitements on your return. 🙂 Go and have a ball. Thanks for taking the time to look at my pictures. Hugs.

  5. Montana can cure a lot of ills. Hope all goes as well as possible with your nazi volunteer.

26 hours from now you’ll be on the ground here in Big Sky Country. Yippeee!
