Wahoo! I met an online journal friend yesterday! She brought along her hub unit, her granddaughter, and the granddaughter’s hub unit. WOW! She came all the way from Chattanooga! Well, not just to see me. California vacation that included a stop in San Diego. She writes as Z’s World. Such a sweetie.
They couldn’t stay long, but it was nice to put a face to a name. She is a riot! And hub unit is an absolute dear. The grandchild and her hub unit are also very nice. Grandchild is smart – working on a PhD. Made me realize just how glad I am that my academic days are over.

It was quite an experience, that bee hole. When they got to the museum, one of the city guys was just starting to fill my bee hole.
They know how to pose nicely. I have that lovely wing of hair screaming off the back of my head. What’s up with that?
So it’s off to Vegas today. I have a meeting at 8:30 (chose a place close to my house) and then I pick up Big Sister Mia. I did all the chores this morning – birds, trash, gardening, etc. I left notes for my housemates for what needs to be done when I am gone. It’s a daily thing. Yikes.
So off I go to pack and shower and gather my millions for the slot machines. Mia has the tickets for the concert and the boarding passes. YAY!

No more quarters in Las Vegas. It’s all paper money and vouchers now. No more filthy fingers.
