On this special day of remembrance, I want to dedicate this poppy to my father. He served in France and Belgium during Word War II. He was there at the Battle of the Bulge. He lived in foxholes for two years, wrote letters to my mother whenever he could, and never spoke of his experiences when he got home.

Thanks, Dad. You made a difference. Peace and love wherever you are.

My Dad was a tank commander in France, Belgium and Germany during the buldge. I wonder if they crossed paths? ‘Tis a nice remembrance!

My Grandfathers both served in the Royal Air Force in WW2. Remembering them today. And also some of the hilarious stories I heard about pilot training.
